From users inside - yes.  If you have 3.2 etc - you should set the
hosts.allow file anyways to only allow portmap from those 5 machines.  I
found that the example in the hosts.allow file does NOT work - you need to
use IP address, not machine names - the logs show it wasnt looking them
up.
