-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I know this is in the FAQ, but each mouse is different and requires its own 'massaging' in the xorg.conf file to get working. A picture of the mouse is available as follows: <http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/oempartners/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=013> 1. I know that buttons 6 and 7 are the scrollwheel's buttons from xev output. I set the values in xorg.conf to what I obtained via xev, but the scrollwheel is non-responsive: - From xorg.conf: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Mouse0" Driver "mouse" Option "Protocol" "auto" Option "Device" "/dev/sysmouse" Option "Buttons" "7" Option "ZAxisMapping" "6 7" Option "Resolution" "100" EndSection 2. cat /dev/ums0 works for the scrollwheel (garbage is printed out). 3. "Buttons" 4 & 5 appear to be mapped to nothing (or at least nothing I can create). 4. On a sidenote (and funny I suppose since this usually happens last), I got the sidebuttons (buttons 8, 9) to work with imwheel.
