https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=216275 Bug ID: 216275 Summary: x11-drivers/xf86-input-penmount: update for compatibility with modern X server Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Some People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Reporter: matthew@reztek.cz Assignee: x11@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(x11@FreeBSD.org) Created attachment 179088 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=179088&action=edit update x11-drivers/xf86-input-penmount All the input drivers other than keyboard, mouse, joystick, synaptics, evdev, and libinput are unmaintained upstream. I have collected any git commits past the last release and added patches as necessary to build error-free with a modern Xorg server (tested with 1.18.4 and 1.19.1), but I do not have this ancient input hardware so cannot run test. While this is only build tested, it's still an improvement as these have seen little or no attention in years. If anyone uses this hardware, please report on the state of this driver, otherwise it will be assumed to be unused and no further maintenance efforts will be extended. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
