I would have sent this to the originoal poster but I wasnt sure who it was... Well, if its anything like BSDI, it doesnt really need shadow.h :) (of course, it might not be anything like it... YMMV) bsdi handles shadowed passwords in such a way that it doesnt need the header file... I had the same problem a few days ago compiling esva radius for bsdi... we use freebsd too but not for radius... Hope this helps...
