The mirrors carry files with the correct md5 checksums of the images too. You can use those to verify that you have downloaded a 'correct' image before trying to burn it. The specific error you're getting doesn't seem to be image related though, but to be sure one would have to know "what errors". How are you trying to burn the image? What tools are you using? What versions of those tools? Are you getting some more detailed messages by the cdrom burning software? Giorgos.
