I have no experience on how to address this and no hardware to test with, so I suggest marking the port IGNORE on the sparc64 ARCH. I've also updated the pkg-message to reflect some reports from users who are not using the full KDE4 desktop along with amarok-kde4. Off-list discussions have suggested that adding a note to pkg-message is a good way to suggest the other ports that should be installed along with amarok-kde4. >How-To-Repeat: >Fix: Patch attached with submission follows: --- Makefile.orig 2009-04-03 08:18:39.000000000 -0500 +++ Makefile 2009-04-03 08:28:30.000000000 -0500 @@ -6,7 +6,7 @@ PORTNAME= amarok PORTVERSION= 2.0.2 -PORTREVISION= 1 +PORTREVISION= 2 CATEGORIES= audio kde MASTER_SITES= ${MASTER_SITE_KDE} MASTER_SITE_SUBDIR= stable/${PORTNAME}/${PORTVERSION}/src @@ -29,6 +29,9 @@ USE_CMAKE= yes USE_LDCONFIG= yes +NOT_FOR_ARCHS= sparc64 +NOT_FOR_ARCHS_REASON_SPARC64= "GCC-related build error" + OPTIONS= GPOD "iPod support" on \ MTP "MTP device support" on \ LOUDMOUTH "Loudmouth support" on --- pkg-message.orig 2009-04-03 08:23:12.000000000 -0500 +++ pkg-message 2009-04-03 08:28:15.000000000 -0500 @@ -6,3 +6,9 @@ this up on FreeBSD here: http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/usb-disks.html + +If you are not running a KDE4 desktop, you should consider installing the +x11/kdebase4-runtime and multimedia/phonon ports along with Amarok.
