I understand that FreeBSD can't be installed to an extended partition, but can it read data in an extended partition? I'm doing some rearranging on my 8Gig drive, and I want more than four partitions on it to install both FreeBSD and Linux on it. It would be nice to have a shared partition between the two. Follow up question: what's the best r/w filesystem to use that both FreeBSD and Linux can access?
