    I wasn't aware that the diskless code had been copied to etc/rc.d,
    but now that you mention it I see it has.

    Yes, I will make the changes there too.  But before I do so I need to
    finish up on the old version of the file so I can properly MFC it to
    -stable.  I have to deal with /tmp, /var, and /dev (though maybe not
    /dev on -current).  I want to give them the same flexibility.

    Then I'll generate the RCNG version, which will take a little longer
    because I have to reinstall my -current test box to test it.
