&nbs= p; =20 i just upgraded a 4.0-R test box to the latest stable (4-2BETA = #4)

&nbs= p; I=20 got 3 HDs on it, two 10GB for the Primary(master & slave), the = Secondary=20 slave 2GB (2ndary Master is CDROM).

&nbs= p; as=20 usual, i did cvsup sources(2x already @ cvsup.internat.freebsd.org), = buildworld,=20 buildkernel, installkernel, boot into 1 user, then finally did = installworld,=20 everything went fine, no errors whatsoever, however during booting to = the new=20 kernel, it seemed it did not support my 10GB HD w/c is my Primary Slave = - which=20 is /dev/ad1s1 and the slice ad1s1e which is solely mounted on=20 /home:

this is what i get, = during the=20 boot to the new kernel:

= Can't open=20 /dev/ad1s1e: Device not configured

= /dev/ad1s1e:=20 Can't Check file system

= and then FSCK=20 of course complains about inconsistencies...

this is=20 so because the kernel did not detect it, from dmesg:

ad0: = 9768MB=20 <ST310212A> [19846/16/63] at ata0-master UDMA66

ad3: = 2014=20 <FUJITSU MPA3026AT> [4092/16/63] at ata1-slave WDMA2,

whereas = from the old=20 kernel :

ad0: = 9768MB=20 <ST310212A> [19846/16/63] at ata0-master using UDMA66

ad1: = 9768MB=20 <ST310212A> [19846/16/63] at ata0-slave using UDMA66

ad3: = 2014=20 <FUJITSU MPA3026AT> [4092/16/63] at ata1-slave WDMA2
