It has Quake and Civ:CTP, what else do you want? :-)

Sure, Windows has MUCH more. But Linux does have decent games.

Microsoft Office is of the kind "office suit". Applixware exists.
Games are games. Quicken-like applications also exist. So, all kinds
of applications you enumerated exist.
