I'll get right down to it: all files in: /usr/ports/x11/qt /usr/ports/devel/gmake /usr/ports/x11/kde /usr/ports/x11/kdebase /usr/ports/x11/kdelibs /usr/ports/graphics/giflib /usr/ports/graphics/jpeg have been updated with the most current from ftp.freebsd.org/pub/ports-current On 3rd attempt at "make all install" from the /usr/ports/x11/kdebase directory, I get: Script started on Thu Jul 2 12:41:49 1998 shiva1# cd /usr/ports/x11/kdebase shiva1# make all install >> Checksum OK for kdebase-beta4-1.src.tar.bz2. ===> Extracting for kdebase-4.1b ===> kdebase-4.1b depends on executable: bzip2 - found ===> kdebase-4.1b depends on executable: moc - found ===> kdebase-4.1b depends on shared library: qt\.1\.3[1-9] - found ===> kdebase-4.1b depends on shared library: gif\.[23]\. - found ===> kdebase-4.1b depends on shared library: jpeg\.9\. - not found ===> Verifying install for jpeg\.9\. in /usr/ports/graphics/jpeg >> Checksum OK for jpegsrc.v6b.tar.gz. ===> Patching for jpeg-6b ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for jpeg-6b 4 out of 5 hunks failed--saving rejects to makefile.cfg.rej *** Error code 4 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. shiva1# exit Script done on Thu Jul 2 12:42:37 1998 Most of the files were already downloaded and compiled. I'm not sure what hunks failed means...it was only 3 out of 5 the time before. Please help.
