While browsing for usable HDLC packages/sources i remeber that i found
_many_ AX.25 packages for FreeBSD (mostly for older FreeBSD versions).

Just have a look at the main sites carrying the KA9Q stuff, i'm shure
you'll find many pointers to FreeBSD ports there.
