Hi, I have install 3.0-RELEASE from ftp2.ru.freebsd.org. When I'm loading a new release it is broken as far as init process. I have a disk (/dev/wd0 - 1.6Gb) with Win95 (1Gb) and fbsd's second partition (600 Mb). 2.2.8-RELEASE has been installed and loaded successful later. I known about a new method of load kernel in 3.0 (from letter of Jordan "State of union"). Where am I get more info about the new method?
