I've started working on the sio... and will be adding Bruce's/Poul-Henning's idea of using a ioctl to set the Tx/Rx FIFO trigger level.. I've already implemented the ring check, but I haven't tested it... but that improvement won't be as important once I get it so it only checks ports that are assigned to that irq..
