I have problems installing openoffice-1.0.1. After installation of all necessary ports, gathering all needed stuff from SUN, I run into the follwoing error: ===> Extracting for openoffice-1.0.1 ===> openoffice-1.0.1 depends on executable: zip - found ===> openoffice-1.0.1 depends on executable: unzip - found ===> openoffice-1.0.1 depends on file: /usr/local/jdk1.3.1/bin/java - not found ===> Verifying install for /usr/local/jdk1.3.1/bin/java in /usr/ports/java/jdk13 ===> Building for jdk-1.3.1p6_4 i386 Build started: 1.3.1-p6-root-020725-12:15 ERROR: Your BOOTDIR environment variable does not point to a valid Java 2 SDK for bootstrapping this build. A Java 2 SDK 1.3.1 build must be bootstrapped against any 1.3 build. Please update your ALT_BOOTDIR setting, or just unset it, and start your build again. Exiting because of the above error(s). gmake: *** [sanity] Error 1 *** Error code 2 Stop in /usr/public/ports/ports/java/jdk13. *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/public/ports/ports/editors/openoffice. As I read in the newsgroups, this error occurs due to the lack of the linux-sdk1.3.1 - but it is already installed and useable! How can I set BOOTDIR to point to the right path or how does the port installes this variable? The same happens on a 'naked', plain and completely fresh installed mashine. Maybe something with dependencies ran wrong ... -- MfG O.
