https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D205983 Bug ID: 205983 Summary: databases/mysql56-server: Excessive RAM usage for default my.cnf Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Many People Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: ale@FreeBSD.org Reporter: rodrigo.freebsd@minasambiente.com.br Assignee: ale@FreeBSD.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(ale@FreeBSD.org) Right after installing mysql56-server it takes too much RAM by just starting the daemon and remains that way even if in idle state. Tests show that it allocates ~480MB from FREE RAM. Waht could be a issue for low RAM systems. Adding 'performance_schema=3Doff' to my.cnf makes it allocating ~38MB or le= ss RAM under same conditions. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
