Hi!
FreeBSD-1.1.5.1:
Im currently using a DCF-77 time code reciever (Germany) which is
connected to sio01 (16550 UART). It gets its power from pin 4 (+/DTR)
and pin 3 (-/TXD) of an 9 pin connector. The signal-line is pin 2 (RXD).
I use the dcfd that comes with the xntpd (../xntpd/parse/util/dcfd.c)
package reading the time code with 50 baud from the device.
Everything works well except sometimes the sio-device changes its
state and the reciever runs out of power. After termination and a new
start of the dcfd everything is o.k. again.
Is this a feature/bug of the device driver or what can I do to stop
this strange behavior? I use /dev/cua01. With /dev/sio01 the dcfd don't
work.
Thanks
Lars
