It has 3 = 4.3-GB WIDE ULTRA SCSI Discs mounted on a disk array. FreeBSD-2.2.6 never detected any disks. Release 4.0 detects them but = after copying the files this error keeps appearing. Remaking all devices; then MAKEDEV returned a non-zero status ; then Some errors occured setup not completed successfully. But sometime the files are copied correctly but when booting the system = complains that there is no bootable kernel. What can be the cause of this problem. Previously there was Windows NT running on this server but I want to = kick it out for good. Could it be that NT did something fishy to my disk.
