I have been trying to discover why my X server occasionally bogs my computer down, and I have finally produced a test case that seems to reproduce the issue consistently using xfreerdp. I've posted a screen capture illustrating the issue here:=20 https://youtu.be/sFjHi20Hl60 I welcome advice that would help me hunt down / determine what specific routines are causing the issue. Should I start hacking on the xfreerdp source? More generally, would hunting this down be helpful to the communi= ty? Note that other selection boxes displayed in other programs (e.g. gimp) do not precipitate this behavior. I'm running the nvidia-304 binary driver Thanks, -Jeff --=20 -------------------------------------------------- Jeffrey Baitis - jeff@baitis.net - 626.921.60= 54 --70Q0o48cm4bPkWj9oRTM4kNPchTFg7mkV Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJVmGG/AAoJELYe/I1EoJ25WSIP/0PWvowLAeYs0VsBpwyHYBn4 ReUWGIkKP6Mz91E03+THLoF/adFWYoNkX6FhziQTcvvYR0+TTK68IwFq14/q2tkE uIFvCNJNE2pPq+FKama/TRNuLNpoh+N2MVuGzEaTtPFNyUYbpkj2kavB8m09TeuB UBG/jvDwK1HrLX+WWanaqyMry8wD4htH7RU3tBXvfHca61JS1ZWh+t42XmZhqvHx /FtJdfQbyAux5PgZuUBHNNKwRf9itLWm7kC+YEqufa0zhLB+CNPojV4KluuMJRh1 jxXeHNYqO0phcJRwI1RujbpscAUZ2zqhf8bZsH3GjtZ+qhpNwHexdCshVXHo/ESe LTs302G5/FgnQWxo+zj+A0BoZpo+3xO+8uE4+S+lmkIPtKZwzrErE+d+ZIAnF69A PAFoeTcihVON1QUiff7NUJDUN2iqCxXpwcJV/o3cmZsYEj3TFiCkuliXeEPv11VQ FDajb2l6PnEmuF8VSTfRff9AxnMIUgM0GctX33urAWFwJu/E9fpWYJzdvZTdKi8q bwcec6M93JD57jHXjgnT6LdGUc9XuowmgSkgLMKX7aOQe1+I6tvvTM6xMK8cWF+4 DHwIBv8fZ4bqV7dppf0JrU7LW1r5HXKe4rHwPvebrM1hE5objMCWQmmXJsit6s1E S28I/LPE2lYA4qlGv/XU =5489 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --70Q0o48cm4bPkWj9oRTM4kNPchTFg7mkV--
