If you want to test things, everything is at http://www.iet.unipi.it/~luigi/cdda/ the version of cdd you find there is still a bit rough, hopefully it will be fixed soon. cheers luigi P.S. now if some good soul wants to put the kernel part into -stable... It is no worse than the rest of ATAPI CDROM support and has close to zero interaction with the rest of the system.
