Searching on error lead to this:

 reading through the thread it appears the issue was aidentified and fixed
prior to this release, perhaps only certain CPUs are effected, my system is
running what is now a rather old AMD processor AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core
Processor              (3516.18-MHz K8-class CPU).
