You can get the dialer stuff (that comes with the M$ plus pack) - letting you automate the login/password bit and avoid the terminal window, or you can install mgetty on the FreeBSD box and `enable pap' in your server config. Mgetty will have to be built with the AutoPPP option - check the mgetty docs for more info. IMHO, the mgetty approach is best.
