            Bug ID: 229760
Summary: Primarily I experienced a FIREFOX FAILURE
           Product: Ports & Packages
           Version: Latest
          Hardware: Any
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Only Me
          Priority: ---
         Component: Individual Port(s)
          Assignee: ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: DBRICESHULTZ@GMAIL.COM

During February when my Gigabyte 10 Year Old Computer failed, I purchased

a Gigabyte 7370XP SLI Board and a new Intel Processor. I then add=
ed

16 GB of Memory and loaded FreeBSD 11.1 on the rebuilt Computer.

   I installed XORG XFCE4 Libreoffice and others I installed=20=20

Firefox. The internet numbers worked well. I failed somehow to

enable BIND to work properly. Therefore I executed dhclient and=
=20=20
the "BIND" functioned and I installed "Firefox" which worked
normally until I responded to the message "This version of Firefo=
x=20
Cannot be Supported". I responded to the complaint of "Mozilla Fire=
fox"

The fabulous FreeBSD "pkg" ( install info update upgrade etc ),=20=
=20=20=20=20=20=20=20
performed and I was messaged that "Firefox" had been improved.

Currently Firefox cannot find freebsd.org or FreeBSD.org or=20=20
   Wikipedia.org or FSF.org or fsf.org or scientificlinux.org or any.org.

FreeBSD 11.1 will ping the IP numbers of FreeBSD.org i.e 96.47.72.84
rapidly but will not ping FreeBSD.org, as will the current 10.2
FreeBSD installation. I do not know if the GIGABYTE 7370XP SLI =
is
   creating the problem possibly,=20=20=20

Sadly I previously had more time to work with FreeBSD and I had
studied
"C" and Postscript and CISCO OS. Perhaps being busy I have lost =
some
knowledge, I am also requesting more contact with the system.

Thank all of you for your fabulous creations and contribution=
s.
