That's very good news to hear!
(Well, the first part of the posting) ;-)

Can you put it on a website for download (complete with the port) and
submit a PR, so someone with commit-rights and interest can commit your
works?

We're a (mostly) HP show, too, but we only have between 100 and 200 servers.
