After applying a patch, man ifconfig doesn't show any trace of maxupd parameter presented (apart it is there ...). Does syncif post any additional workload on iface? Apart to change maxupd i'm not really in a need to syncif for a moment. To the last, may be pflog0 would be better non-biased alternative for FreeBSD REL_5 incarnation march 2005? thanks to all for your help vlad
