(Cc:ed) I think the idea is good, but IMO, the best way is wait this http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/82791 when this PR is commited this solution could be made simplest way, adding QMAIL_PREFIX on mail/qmail/Makefile.include and setting PREFIX?=${QMAIL_PREFIX}.
