Is it possible to set a timeout for the DNS resolver?
The IP that I connect from changed recently and system
login process now takes more than a minute to complete,
apparently because of DNS reverse resolve problem
(I experience similar delay when log into other boxes
with different NS setup; the box in question does not
run a name server)
