I have set up user ppp on my 2.2.7 FreeBSD box as shown in the manual & samples in the "/etc/ppp" dir but I am having trouble making a connection to my ISP. The system dials in and appears to be negotiating pap authintication then disconnects. I have edited the following files thus far. /etc/host.conf /etc/hosts /etc/resolv.conf /etc/ppp/ppp.conf /etc/linkup /etc/rc.conf I am currently invoking ppp from the command line ( while testing ) with ppp -auto -alias demand Can anyone take a look at my ppp.log file and make sense of what may be the problem? Here it is, any help will save what little hair I have left!
