If someone could help me with my problem. I have 4 computers and 2 X terminals. 128.127.0.1 omnix Interactive Unix (will be replaced by FreeBSD) 128.127.10.1 zapata FreeBSD 2.0-RELEASE 128.127.0.7 myriam msdos 128.127.10.1 tony msdos 128.127.1.1 ncd00 X-Terminal NCD 128.127.1.2 ncd01 X-Terminal NCD omnix and zapata are running 24 hours a day Some programs are simpler to use if named is available. my computers are NOT connect to any external network. I would like configure a DNS to have only one set of configurations file and not several hosts files How can I configure the system I tried many things but without any success.
