No, secure/*/*telnet* not affects standard telnet building.
You need directly goes to secure to buld enhanced telnet.

The root of all evil is that eBones (namely eBones/des)
not fully compatible with kerberosIV, so we can't
obtain encryption and authentification from enhanced
telnet with our eBones :-(
I already ask Eric Young to implement additional
functions too.
