Hello I have 3 scsi disks on my machine - one is dangerously dedicated and contains only data, the other two have slices, etc.=20 Of these two, I can boot from the first one (always have). I see the usual F1, F2, etc. from the boot manager, if I press return, the boot process continues. Now, I have installed a fresh copy of FreeBSD 4.4 on the second disk, but cannot reach it via the boot manager. The message I get when going to the second disk from the boot manager (pressing F5) is:=20 =09Invalid partition At this point, if I type: =092:da(1,a)/kernel -s at the "boot:" prompt it boots fine from the second disk. I have tried lots of combinations with boot0cfg but so far have not been able to get it to work. I currently have: # this is the first disk, boots no problem: =E3x=F8l=F8tl:/=F0sk=B3/=E3nt=F8ni=F8>=A0su=F0=F8=A0b=F8=F8t0cfg=A0-v=A0=F0= =E30 #=A0=A0=A0fl=E3g=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0st=E3rt=A0chs=A0=A0=A0t=FD=FEe=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0=A0=A0en=F0=A0chs=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=F8ffset=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0size =B9=A0=A0=A00x80=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A00:=A0=A0=B9:=A0=B9=A0=A0=A00x=E35=A0=A0= =A0=A0=B9=B97:254:6=B3=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A06=B3=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0=B9895607 2=A0=A0=A00x00=A0=A0=A0=A0=B9=B98:=A0=A00:=A0=B9=A0=A0=A00x=E35=A0=A0=A0=A0= 274:254:6=B3=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=B9895670=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A02522205 =B3=A0=A0=A00x00=A0=A0=A0=A0275:=A0=A00:=A0=B9=A0=A0=A00x=E35=A0=A0=A0=A055= =B3:254:6=B3=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A044=B97875=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A04482=B9=B35 versi=F8n=3D=B9.0=A0=A0=F0rive=3D0x80=A0=A0m=E3sk=3D0xf=A0=A0ticks=3D=B982 =F8=FEti=F8ns=3Dn=F8=FE=E3cket=B8u=FE=F0=E3te=B8n=F8set=F0rv =F0ef=E3ult_selecti=F8n=3DF=B9=A0(Slice=A0=B9) # this is the second disk, no booting allowed: =E3x=F8l=F8tl:/=F0sk=B3/=E3nt=F8ni=F8>=A0su=F0=F8=A0b=F8=F8t0cfg=A0-v=A0=F0= =E3=B9 #=A0=A0=A0fl=E3g=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0st=E3rt=A0chs=A0=A0=A0t=FD=FEe=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0=A0=A0en=F0=A0chs=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=F8ffset=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0= =A0size =B9=A0=A0=A00x80=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A00:=A0=A00:=A0=B9=A0=A0=A00x=E35=A0=A0=A0= =B902=B3:=A066:=B99=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=A00=A0=A0=A0=A0=A0=B35= 566480 versi=F8n=3D=B9.0=A0=A0=F0rive=3D0x82=A0=A0m=E3sk=3D0xf=A0=A0ticks=3D=B982 =F8=FEti=F8ns=3Dn=F8=FE=E3cket=B8u=FE=F0=E3te=B8set=F0rv =F0ef=E3ult_selecti=F8n=3DF=B9=A0(Slice=A0=B9) Can anyone shed some light on this?
