Extracting from the configure script, it runs: LD_PRELOAD="preloadable_libintl.so" sh -c 'echo yes' This line, returns 'yes' on a -stable system and "/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "preloadable_libintl.so" not found" on a -current system.
