Hi all

What is the problem of command cmp as follows:
How do i fix it?

[root@mail john]# cmp a.txt b.txt
cmp: EOF on a.txt

a.txt and b.txt is create by vi editor and there is
many ip addresses on it

and

What is the different between diff and cmp
