Nope! I haven't changed anything on the machine. I have no idea how to
overclock a processor ;-) - I just run FreeBSD on this box and that is
all.
What hardware could this be? The only option I remember changing in the
kernel is for high resolution support.

options VESA.

The kernel compile was successful. I've not changed anything else.
