Hi,
Today I tried to install 2.0.5R on a machine with SMC Elite16 (irq=10
and iomem=0xd0000). Installation went OK by booting with -c option and
setting correct irq and iomem, but probing ed0 caused a panic:
config> probe ed0
Fatal trap 12: page fault while in kernel mode
fault virtual address = 0x3fc00360
fault code = supervisor read, page not present
instruction pointer = 0x8:0xf019d467
code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b
= DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1
processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0
current process = 0 ()
interrupt mask = net tty bio
panic: page fault
hit reset please
Is this a known problem? Is this just because I'm using non-default
irq and iomem? Thanks!
