We don't have any software libraries to talk to the video capture 
sub-systems nor is the api fully documented.

If you like to find out more about video capture for FreeBSD do 
a man meteor because we are almost fully compliant to the meteor
video capture driver.
I will probably start working on a programming guide for the
Bt848 real soon.
