Use "i386" if you have PC type hardware. The version you want it 4.8. If you're using PC hardaware, the URL you want is either: ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/4.8/4.8-RELEASE-i386-disc1.iso or ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/4.8/4.8-RELEASE-i386-mini.iso Warning!
