Hi, I have an ibm thinkpad x30 (i830m) and face the similar issue after upgrading to the latest xorg and xf86-video-intel. It's i386 8.0-current (r186556) and I have no luck with and without drm enabled. Here is the X log with drm enabled: http://w.csie.org/~tzhuan/tmp/xorg-dri.log and without drm enabled: http://w.csie.org/~tzhuan/tmp/xorg.log Here is the xorg.conf generated by X -configure with some minor modified: http://w.csie.org/~tzhuan/tmp/xorg.conf Here is the dmesg: http://w.csie.org/~tzhuan/tmp/dmesg.txt Is there anything I can help? Thanks, Tz-Huan
