I have ipfw in the kernel and some log filters set, so I can see that the
interface vx0 is receiving all packets on the local ethernet :-(
The next is that the Machine is sending icmp messages ( net/host unreach. )

The board is an ASUS P/I-P55TP4N
Do you know where I can get the docs ? I looked at www.3com.com but could not
find the stuff.

The Dos Config Program from 3Com for this Card has the answer, I guess.
There must be a Config Register which has to be initialized from the
Kernel at boot time .
