As stated about 30 million times on other lists, there have been issues with the "original" ftp.FreeBSD.org. Of course it had to happen at release time. To get around this, the hostname ftp.FreeBSD.org has been pointed at a cluster of 3 machines for the time being, and they don't have the old directory structure in place. So, until it's restored, do what you should be doing anyway -- use a mirror close to you. There is a list in the handbook. - jim -- - jim mock - O|S|D|N - open source development network - - http://www.freebsdzine.org/ - jim@freebsdzine.org - jim@FreeBSD.org - To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
