I was able to do just that on Ubuntu.=0A=0AA patch = for this purpose (that is, on FreeBSD) and instructions are found at:=0A=0A= http://raaf.atspace.org/=0A=0AThe patch, for vlc-0.8.5 (an older version) i= s copied to the source directory before compilation. The compilation finish= ed.=0A=0AI loaded the pwc.ko module and verified that it was working by obt= aining a display with pwcview.
