I just wanted to let you know that you have my most sincere gratitude for your direct and courteous response, and have helped make my first FreeBSD experience a joy. Just thought you might like to know. I have read that /dev/pn0 communicates with this hardware device, however when I get to the hardware configuration phase of the installation, that device is not listed. A variaty of other NIC devices are available with their drivers loaded, none of which are installed in the machine. > >I am attempting an FTP install which will be shortlived unless I can activate the Linksys card.
