That's great, except that if I were to run 4.0 on my box (ThinkPad 600E), I'd lose sound, and I'd have to futz with network and modem to get it working. And, it works great under 2.2.8. My how we've progressed. :) :) :) Nate ps. This is *NOT* a shot at Warner, who has worked his tail off after I bailed and let things go idle in 3.X. He's got a big job ahead of him, and the numbers of changes throughout the system (ie; newbus & pcm) have made it difficult for laptop users to have usable systems, unfortunately.
