I'm learning as well, i got a copy of Annelise Anderson's "FreeBSD: An
Open-Source Operating System For Your Personal Computer", Greg Lehey's "The
Complete FreeBSD", and i also visit Dan Langille's website
(http://www.freebsddiary.org) and http://www.daemonnews.org periodically. I
would suggest reading the FreeBSD handbook and learning by creating a user
account on your system and trying the commands while you are reading to get
to know the system. Also, you might want to take a look at
http://www.defcon1.org. I hope that helps, have fun.
