I undersand that there is as yet no support for any RAID controllers in
FreeBSD.  (Please correct me if I'm wrong...)

Now...  would it be possible to use a RAID controller in a SCSI-to-SCSI
configuration?  I.e., a RAID controller in an external drive casing is
connected to a (supported) SCSI controller internal to the FreeBSD box.
