I am using cvsup and the stable-supfile provided in the handbook. Updated /src without any problems from my australian mirror. Read make world tutorial and updated /etc/make.conf and /etc/groups. While in X or in single user mode when I do make buildworld after about and hour or two I get: cc -O -pipe -I. -I/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../../../../contrib/gcc -I/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../../../../contrib/gcc/config -DFREEBSD_NATIVE -DDEFAULT_TARGET_VERSION=\"2.7.2.1\" -DDEFAULT_TARGET_MACHINE=\"i386-unknown-freebsd\" -I/usr/obj/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../cc_tools -I/usr/obj/usr/src/tmp/usr/include -c /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../../../../contrib/gcc/cp/decl.c cc -O -pipe -I. -I/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../../../../contrib/gcc -I/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../../../../contrib/gcc/config -DFREEBSD_NATIVE -DDEFAULT_TARGET_VERSION=\"2.7.2.1\" -DDEFAULT_TARGET_MACHINE=\"i386-unknown-freebsd\" -I/usr/obj/usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../cc_tools -I/usr/obj/usr/src/tmp/usr/include -c /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin/cc/cc1plus/../../../../contrib/gcc/cp/decl2.c cc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 6 *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop.
