	FreeBSD 3.0-CURRENT this week

>Description:

I just reported the problem that ldconfig does not
merge /usr/local/lib. Now I noticed that the problem is
not the directory but the filename.

>Fix:

	in /usr/src/sbin/ldconfig/elfhints.c lines 102-114 checks
the filename for a valid shared library name.
This seems to exclude subversion numbers.

The problem may be in the port, if subversions are not allowed.
But Linux e.g. makes use of such numbering.
