In my kernel config according to what I have read I only needed to add: device pcm Which I have. I went to /dev and sh MAKEDEV snd0 Recompiled the kernel and restarted, and got an error msg: pcm0: at device 10.0 on pci0 pcm0: unable to map register space device_probe_and_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6 Hoping someone might be able to let me know what I may be doing wrong, or what I may trie to fix it.
