It's worth pointing out that Transarc didn't have anything to do with the NetBSD AFS client - that was done by John Kohl and others at MIT. If you have a source license, I would think it wouldn't be that hard to port the source-code diffs (I looked at the code myself, for other reasons). They're pretty straightforward.
