Hello there!
I have been able to configure my OPTi sound card and it seems to be
working fine. At least I can play midi files with "playmidi".
Now, FreeBSD ver 2.2.2 has a package called "rosegarden-2.0" and
it seems to be a good program for editing music. My problem is that
I cannot make it configure the midi sequencer. Every time I try to
do it, I receive the following error message:

It seems to me a problem with the X windows system... but it also seems to
be a problem with the sequencer. I do not know. My kernel configuration
says:
